Description

The Lecturer appointed will be responsible for a total of six courses in fall 2023 and spring 2024, three per semester, with no additional service expectation. The teaching assignment for fall 2023 will be two sections of a world history survey, either World Civilizations to 1500 or World Civilizations after 1500, and one section of an upper division course on China. The assignment for spring 2024 will be the same.

Qualifications

The Department of History at the University of Tennessee seeks a Lecturer with teaching and research expertise in the history of China. The Lecturer must have Ph.D. in hand by 1 August 2023.
