Coordinates the planning, development and implementation of a comprehensive student financial assistance program which assists over 60 percent of the students enrolled at the University. Responsible for the overall management of the internal operations of the office, which includes administration of the programs, management of staff, student counseling/customer service, application processing, development and maintenance of the student information system and assisting in the preparation of state, federal and institutional reports.
Job Duties
1. Manages the internal operation of the office, which includes counseling, customer service, processing and loan and scholarship delivery.
2. Oversees electronic system maintenance and development for the office.
3. Responsible for preparing all required reports (federal, state, institutional as well as external) for the office.
4. Coordinates activities of the Office of Student Financial aid with other university units.
5. Provides professional counseling to students; coordinates the development of publications, announcements and information for students.
6. Assists the Director in strategic planning and maintains policy and procedures manuals.
7. Coordinates the training program for the office.
8. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications :
Bachelors and 7 years experience
Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Requires a minimum of seven (7) years of directly job-related experience.
