This pool is intended for AY 23-24. Applications will be accepted on a continuous basis, and screening of applications will take place as positions become available and continue until positions are filled. The Department of English and the University of Oregon anticipate ongoing uncertainty created by the COVID-19 pandemic about student enrollment figures. While the Department of English expects Pro Tem teaching appointments to be for in-person classes for AY 23-24, the timing of hiring, course assignment, and modality decisions may come later than in years past.

Please note the limitations on concurrent faculty employment and student status in the same department: https://gradschool.uoregon.edu/policies-procedures/enrollment-residency/concurrent-faculty
