Job Summary

This position is for a PhD degree researcher with a background and international publication history in metallic biomaterials, additive manufacturing, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. The successful applicant will be responsible for conducting independent research on applications of machine learning and AI to additive manufacturing and metallic biomaterials.

Essential Functions
  • Set up and maintain a corrosion testing capability.
  • Design of experiments using machine learning and AI
  • Master complex systems with sound mechanical principles
  • Simulate real world conditions and measure outputs using sensors.
  • Define procedures to evaluate product performance and conduct bench top testing.

  • Perform statistical data analysis and interpretation.
  • Collaborate with IRC director and staff on research and test plans.
  • Communicate with professionals in the field at all levels and transition information into research improvement.
  • Duties will also include retrieval analysis support of corrosion in metallic biomaterials.
Required Qualifications
  • PhD or Doctorate
  • PhD in Biomedical Engineering or a Life Sciences Discipline or MBA or J.D.
  • Zero experience
Preferred Qualifications

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are required.
Problem solves issues with attention to detail.
