The primary purpose of the Part-Time Adjunct Faculty person is to teach courses in areas of their expertise.
A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:
- Teach theory, lab, and clinical
- Provides laboratory and clinical instruction in core areas and other areas as needed
- Assists the Director with curriculum planning, textbook recommendations, ongoing assessment and evaluation, and revisions for the core sections
- Other duties and projects as assigned

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related area with Certified Surgical Technologist credential and at least 3 years of recent scrub and/or surgical technology education teaching experience or both within the last 5 years preferred
- Associate’s degree in related area with Certified Surgical Technologist credential and at least 3 years of recent scrub and/or surgical technology education teaching experience or both within the last 5 years required
- Must have willingness to travel to clinical sites and off site system meetings
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, Waypoint, and Canvas
- Must have effective verbal and written communications skills
- The ability to lift and maneuver independently up to 25 lbs
