Description

The Department of Education Studies at DePauw University invites applications for a one year Post-doctoral Scholar in Education Studies (Rank of Assistant Professor of Education Studies) position beginning August 2023. Ph.D. (completed by August 2023) in Education Studies or a closely related field required (candidates who are ABD will be considered at the rank of Pre-Doctoral Scholar and Instructor of Education Studies). A commitment to teaching undergraduates in a liberal arts setting and evidence of effective and inclusive teaching are essential. The department specifically seeks candidates to teach courses such as Deconstructing Differences, Foundations of Education, and one upper-level course of the candidate’s choosing after consultation with the department. Teaching assignment is two courses per semester and funding is available for professional development.
