Position Summary

Under the direction of the Study Coordinator and Senior Research Project Director, the Research Assistant will support a five-year study entitled “Trauma-informed approach to timely detection and management of early postpartum hypertension” which is funded by the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute ( PCORI ).

Major responsibilities include screening patients for eligibility, enrollment, data collection and data entry. An ideal candidate holds a demonstrated interest in addressing maternal and child health inequity from a social determinants of health perspective. The Study Coordinator should have strong teamwork, written and oral communications skills, and the ability to work independently.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and up to two years of experience working with patients/data collection, or an equivalent of education/experience.
  • Experience working in community engaged programs and research projects.
  • Experience with Word, Power Point, Excel, and related software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
  • Training as a community health worker or doula

$40,000 - $50,000
