Job Description

The College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, (TAMU-CC) invites applications for two 9 month, full-time, tenure track faculty positions of Nursing Practice at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor to begin as early as fall 2023. Rank will be determined upon qualifications. The duties and responsibilities of this position include:

• Teaching across the College of Nursing and Health Sciences curriculum.
  
• Research and scholarly activities.
  
• Providing service to the university, college, and community.
  
• Contributing to ongoing program evaluation and improvement.
  

The successful candidate is expected to reside in the Corpus Christi, TX area and maintain a campus presence as part of the College of Nursing and Health Sciences faculty.

Required Qualifications:

• An earned doctorate in Nursing from an accredited institution, or a doctorate in a related discipline from an accredited institution with an earned master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
  
• Demonstrated record of high-quality teaching
  
• Established research/scholarly activity appropriate for appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor
  
• Unrestricted RN/APRN licensure in Texas by the time of appointment
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Sustained record of research and extramural funding as indicated by recent publications and presentations at regional and national/international levels
  
• Board certified FNP experience, including current clinical experiences
  
• Experience with program coordination and curriculum development
  
• Knowledge of innovative teaching approaches and the use of technology in instruction
  
• Experience with online graduate programs
  
• Experience with interprofessional collaborative education, scholarship, and/or practice
