This position serves as the department leader for Xavier’s Veteran and Military Family Center, supporting over 300 military-connected undergraduate and graduate students. The primary focus of this role is leading all student services and related daily operations to support our Veteran’s and military affiliated students- including academic support, co-curricular, career development, student engagement and wellness. This leadership position collaborates with admission, financial aid, student success and career development to ensure Xavier University is a National ‘destination’ Institution for military-connected students (as measured by academic standing, retention, persistence, and career outcome rates). The Director will support strategic development of recruiting efforts enabling Xavier University to be a distinct and uniquely veteran-friendly institution.

At the direction of the Vice President of Enrollment Management & Student Success, the Director will also lead external relations efforts that directly support the financial stability of the center; as well as alumni engagement.
