The Opportunity:

Embry-Riddle is now hiring an Admissions Graduate and Transfer Assistant (official title is Admissions Graduate and Transfer Coordinator) at the Daytona Beach campus. This is an entry-level, non-exempt position.

Responsibilities of this position include:
  • Respond promptly to inquiries from both graduate and transfer programs.

  • Work closely with Assistant Director of Graduate Enrollment Operations reviewing and processing graduate applications

  • Provide support with incoming and outgoing phone calls to prospective and admitted students.

  • Meet in person and virtually with prospective students and families to provide counseling and advising on the admissions process

  • Cross training with the Admissions Graduate and Transfer Coordinator to be a backup for building out course equivalencies and rules

  • Process, review and render admissions decisions for student applications

  • Represent the Office of Graduate and Transfer Admissions at various Admissions events including Open House, Preview Day, and Orientation.

  • Run regular reports to review applicant status and conduct outreach initiatives with the Associate Director of Graduate and Transfer Admissions.

  • Attend graduate and transfer fairs as needed

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree required. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, Counseling or related field preferred.
  • Experience working in a higher education setting, preferably in the office of advising, registrar or admissions.
  • Experience in advising and interacting with students.
  • Familiarity with report writing and data analysis.
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and strong computer literacy.
  • Ability to communicate well with all levels of University staff and administration.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with any student information system and CRM, preferably Oracle Campus Solutions for SIS and Salesforce for CRM.
  • Experience with any type of document imaging and workflow system.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least one year of admissions or related experience.
