Qualifications:
An introduction to social psychology including the study of attitude formation and change, social interaction, social norms and cultural influences on personality formation. Prerequisite: Psychology 1. This course satisfies the Social Science requirement of the Core Curriculum. This is a 4 unit undergraduate course.

This course will be taught in person on the Moraga campus during the 2023 Fall term on Tuesday and Thursday from 1:30 - 3:10 pm.

In addition to teaching, the instructor is expected to hold regular office hours (a minimum of one hour per week) in order to provide students with support outside of the classroom.

The successful candidate will hold an advanced degree in Psychology, and undergraduate teaching experience in Social Psychology or a closely related field. Candidates should have a successful record of teaching experience at the undergraduate level and experience with online/hybrid instruction. Preference will be given to those who have previously taught Psych 160.

This position requires all coursework to be performed in the state of California.

The salary range for this position is $9,932 - $13,344 (4 units) and is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the College and SEIU, Local 1021, available here.
