Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure research track. Applicants must have an M.D. or Ph.D degree.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include creating or complementing a research program focusing on Friedreich ataxia and related neurological disorders with a particular focus on its biochemistry and how this leads to neurological dysfunction. Extramural funding is required, as well as publishing 1-2 publications per year in a high impact neurology or neuroscience journal.
