Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Instructor position in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree.

Responsibilities may include developing a research program that seeks to understand how circadian rhythms and sleep interact with pediatric neurological disorders. Candidates should also pursue additional training opportunites including: applying for training grants, taking courses at the University of Pennsylvania, and pursing training opportunities/mini fellowships in the department, among other career development opportunities.

The successful applicant will have an opportunity to develop an individual training experience in research skills and teaching while developing a career in an academic setting.
