The American College of the Mediterranean (ACM), a U.S. non-profit institution with degree and study abroad programs offered at its flagship campus in Aix-en-Provence, France and satellite study abroad programs in Italy, Spain, and Morocco, invites applications and nominations for the position of Director of Finance and Administration (DFA). The DFA position offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to support the strategic vision and provide coordinated management guidance for a unique and growing international college in the Mediterranean.
Based at ACM's U.S. Office in San Diego, CA, the DFA will provide leadership and oversight of ACM’s daily and strategic operations. The DFA will work in partnership with the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to define and deliver administrative excellence for ACM. They will provide management leadership that develops and effectively delivers ACM services in alignment with the strategic vision established by the President and Board of Trustees. The DFA will assist the CFO in overseeing the effective execution of ACM’s financial, personnel, IT, and logistic operations as well as the effective oversight of the financial and human resources of ACM. The DFA will provide day-to-day support to the CFO with the leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure the effective growth of the organization, financial health and strength, and operating efficiency. The DFA will coordinate human resources via effective internal communication to ensure the internal health of the ACM workplace. The DFA will always endeavor to support the CFO in their efforts to empower the operational team in all locations with the leadership and resources needed to fulfill ACM’s vision of changing the face of international higher education. The DFA will develop and implement policies that advance the culture and vision of ACM.
