The University of Puget Sound is hiring a Term-Limited Admission Officer to join our Admission Department!

The Admission Officer engages prospective students and their families throughout the enrollment process and plays a critical role in supporting and advancing efforts to meet University enrollment goals.As a member of the Admission Team, the Admission Officer is responsible for reviewing and assessing applications, making thoughtful admission decisions, and implementing recruitment and yield strategies that enroll students who will contribute to an academically rigorous and inclusive campus community.

This position is:

• Temporary/fixed-term position, effective until June 1, 2024.
• Full-time, (1.0 FTE)

Please note:

-Positions that work less than .75 FTE (1,560 hours per year) do not qualify for long-term disability or education benefits.
-Positions that work less than .50 FTE (1,040 hours per year) will accrue paid sick leave but are not eligible for additional benefits.
-Temporary positions that work at least .50 FTE (1,040 hours per year) will be eligible for benefits after 6 months of continuous employment.

To be considered for this role, a candidate must have:

• A Bachelor's Degree, preferably from a liberal arts college.
• A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion as it impacts the campus community and beyond.
• The ability to travel a minimum of 6 weeks.
• A Valid driver's license.
• Ability to respectfully work, communicate and provide leadership within a diverse campus community.

Candidates must be able to explain and/or demonstrate that they possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to safely perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Compensation and Benefits:

• The pay range for this position is $19 to $20 per hour. Decisions about starting salaries are made based on the extent and relatedness of the candidate's education and experience and on internal equity and market considerations.
• This position is non-exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
