Job Description:

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cape Cod Community College is seeking an exceptional and experienced leader who thrives on bringing teams together to accomplish shared goals. This position will work closely with the Dean of Enrollment Management to build and execute the Strategic Enrollment Management plan with an emphasis on recruitment and on-boarding communications.

The Director will be responsible for creating the student recruitment schedule based institutional needs and enrollment trends. This is an outstanding opportunity for a highly motivated individual who enjoys working in a results-oriented, innovative, and fast-paced environment, and who has experience connecting with students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

  1. Provide leadership for the enrollment area by working with relevant stakeholders to ensure that students receive equity minded onboarding services that are grounded in the mission of the College.
  2. In collaboration with the Dean of Enrollment Management, serve as the College's primary strategic thought and implementation leader for managing the recruitment-to-registration pipeline, identifying changes or growth opportunities to create more seamless systems collegewide.
  3. Plan, direct, and coordinate programs, policies, procedures, and personnel related to all functions of student enrollment.
  4. Collaborate with the Dean of Enrollment Management to develop, implement, and assess the Strategic Enrollment Management plan and recruitment goals in partnership with academic deans, division leaders, and administration.
  5. Utilize enrollment management and other data to inform decision making and recruitment planning; monitor and analyze current trends in enrollment to inform recruitment strategies.
  6. Collaborate and provide leadership for stakeholders involved in the onboarding and enrollment process, including Admissions, Financial Aid, Registration, Advising, Placement Testing, and to ensure consistency in communications and maintain a quick, seamless enrollment process for new students.
  7. Collaborate with academic departments to establish and align recruitment goals and strategies.
  8. Provide on-going professional development for enrollment staff to ensure high quality enrollment services for prospective students, guests, and newly admitted students.
  9. Work closely with the Marketing and Strategic Communications department on the design, message, and timing of enrollment materials for recruiting and materials to market the academic program offerings at the College.
  10. Serve as point person and provide leadership for the implementation of enrollment software and communication platforms, including any Customer Relation Management (CRM) or text messaging systems, while keeping up with modern tools used in student recruitment; collaborate with the Dean of Enrollment Management and members of the OPS team to ensure ongoing maintenance and continued implementation of all features of the enrollment platform as well as long-term maintenance of the system.
  11. Responsible for the ongoing planning and professional development and training for all admissions and recruitment staff members.
  12. Keep current on research, philosophy, and trends in enrollment management.
  13. Represent the College on internal and external committees; develop and deliver presentations on enrollment management and recruitment to key stakeholders and other leadership at the College.



Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

  1. Bachelor's degree.
  2. Five (5) years of progressive experience in admissions, recruitment or other leadership position within Enrollment Management.
  3. Demonstrated experience in recruitment and strategic enrollment planning.
  4. Demonstrated understanding of the application of technology to deliver relevant enrollment student services.
  5. Experience working with student information systems and customer relationship management systems.
  6. Ability to effectively collaborate with and lead cross-functional teams.
  7. Demonstrated knowledge of student enrollment, recruitment and data tracking practices.
  8. Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to interact with faculty, staff, administrators, students, alumni and the public.


ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Previous experience working at a community college.
  2. Experience working in a unionized environment.
  3. Direct experience working with Jenzabar One (SIS).

Additional Information:

COMPENSATION : Annual salary range of $75,000-$80,000, dependent upon qualifications. Includes participation in a comprehensive employee benefits program including option to participate in Massachusetts State Employees' Retirement System. Full-time, Non-unit Professional Position.
