The Division of Science and Mathematics within the School of Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences (SIAS) at the University of Washington (UW) Tacoma projects the need for instruction in lower division Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics during the 2023-2024 academic year. We invite applications for Part-Time Lecturers Temporary from individuals with expertise and/or teaching experience in one or more of these areas. These are part-time positions with quarterly (3-month) service periods that begin on June 16, September 16, December 16, and/or March 16.

The base salary range for this position will be $5250 per quarter per 5-credit course ($6300 per 6-credit laboratory course) commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. Qualifications

This position requires an earned Ph.D. or M.S. degree (or foreign equivalent) in a related field at the time of appointment. Priority will be given to candidates with previous experience teaching at higher ed institutions.
