Research Assistant- School of Social Work
Wayne State University is searching for an experienced Research Assistant- School of Social Work at its Detroit campus location.

Essential functions (job duties):
Provide research assistance at center.
Provide support to project coordinator(s), project managers, and directors.
Schedule, confirm, and coordinate calls and meetings.
Transcribe and follow-up on activities of the calls and meetings.
Provide data collection, entry, and reporting support.
Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in a social science (social work, psychology, criminal justice, or urban studies) or equivalent experience.
Comfortable with a variety of computer programs (including Microsoft Excel and Word, PowerPoint, SPSS, and Teams).
Ability to learn computer applications quickly.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to effectively interface with range of community partners.
Reliable transportation to campus.
Preferred qualifications:
Preferred experience working on social science research projects. Preferred knowledge of criminal justice and community mental health systems (i.e. terminology, processes, goals and outcomes)
