We are searching for an experienced Part-Time Faculty, Sport Administration and Management at our Detroit campus location.

Teaching Opportunities

Wayne State University is a premier, public, urban research university located in the heart of Detroit, where students from all backgrounds are offered a rich, high-quality education. The Administration and Management program is located in the Division of Kinesiology, Health, and Sport Studies in the College of Education. The program offers undergraduate (B.S.) and graduate (M.S.) degrees that prepare students for careers in any area of the professional, semi-professional, collegiate, youth, corporate, non-profit, or sport gaming industries. Sport Administration and Management professionals are encouraged to apply for part-time faculty (adjunct) teaching positions (up to 8 credit hours). Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Sport Administration, Sport Management, or related discipline.

Minimum of three years of industry experience or three years of teaching experience in higher education.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional Sport Administration and/or Management professional certifications. Evidence of expertise and effectiveness in online instruction.
