Responsibilities
Responsible for office-wide recruitment, outreach, and territory management for assigned geographic territory in alignment with strategic enrollment goals. Responsible for development and execution of a recruitment plan which in some instances are tailored to the specific territory demographic. Assists with day to day visitors in the role of Counselor of the Day, delivering presentations, and being responsive to student ambassador needs. Participate in and assist in coordinating yield activities, including assistance with the tele-recruiting center.

1. Recruitment and Outreach
Execute office-wide in-person, remote, and virtual recruitment efforts to assigned geographic territories. Represent the institution at college fairs, transfer fairs, and high schools; communicate with prospective students, parents, and high school counselors; participate in the visit experience by making presentations during information sessions, special group and counselor of the day activities; maintain continuous contact with prospective students via e-mail, phone, and office visits. Plan regional receptions and send-offs for prospective and admitted students. Identify and assist in engaging alumni in recruitment efforts.

2. Territory Management
Assist with creation, maintenance and implementation of strategic plan for student recruitment and admission in accordance with institutional goals; ongoing assessment of strategies in plan.
Manage assigned geographic territory, which includes coordination and implementation of outreach and yield activities. Compile, analyze, and report data for territory;report on any trends within territories; report regularly on admissions funnel for territories and recruitment/yield activities throughout funnel.

3. Application Management
Read and evaluate admissions applications for geographic territories. Assist in holistic application review; assist in follow-up for application completion; recommend admission decision to the Dean of Admissions.

4. Student Yield
Maintain responsive communication protocols including prompt response to inquiries; participate in planning and implementation of student yield events on campus. Tele-recruit to convert students to next levels of admissions funnel, including communications to applicants, admitted students, and deposited students.

5. Telecenter Supervision
Assist with supervision of the student calling telecenter. Mentor and oversee student callers to assure quality of information exchange, as well as optimization of call volumes.

6. Social Media and Text Messaging
Assists with monitoring of social media platforms. Contribute to the creation of content on all social media platforms. On call responder to text messages resulting from ongoing communications campaigns.

7. Other Duties as Assigned
Take the lead in coordination of occasional yield programs. Assist in routine monitoring of web analytics and e-mail open rates. Serve as the admission club sport liaison by providing best practice recruitment tactics and communication regarding movement throughout the funnel enrollment funnel

Experience and Qualifications
Education:
REQUIRED: BA and/or equivalent knowledge, training & experience PREFERRED: BA

Experience: (years required and applicable field of experience): 2-3 years' experience in higher education, admissions and recruitment experience preferred.

Skills/Abilities: (e.g. computer skills, written & verbal skills, trades, laws, procedures, technical) Outstanding verbal and written and interpersonal communication skills, goal oriented and ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment; cultural awareness and sensitivity, be team oriented, possess a high level of initiative and willingness to contribute to entire recruitment effort.
