The Associate Campus Director, Student Advisor, under the direction
of the, Regional Director of Campus and Student Services, or
designee, leads and executes the delivery of student services
functions to supplement and enhance the academic experience,
student retention, and graduation. Specific functions include:
Student Advising, Campus Operations, Orientation, Commencement, and
student issue resolution. The Associate Campus Director, Student
Advisor will be the Student Adviser and oversee day to day
operations of the campus as the primary person responsible for
local management decisions and actions.
The Associate Campus Director, Student Advisor will supervise IT
and faculties and have a shared reporting relationship with other
staff roles on the campus including Admissions and Financial Aid in
a matrix environment.
: Master’s degree in Education, Counseling or
Management or related field; or an equivalent combination of
education and experience.
: Two to five (2-5) years of progressively
responsible higher education student/academic advising or closely
related professional experience, preferably in graduate or
professional education. Supervision experience of professional
staff prefered. Demonstrated success in leading teams of diverse
employees as well as experience with enlivening and fostering a
climate that values and embraces all forms of human
Certifications, Licenses, etc.
• Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office applications
(especially, Word & Excel), CARS, CX integrated database or

Duties & Responsibilities
• The Associate Campus Director, Student Advisor serves as the
Student Advisor for students enrolled at the campus and facilitates
seamless integration of the student experience from the point of
admission through degree completion.
• Responsible for assisting students with course transfer credit
evaluation, course registration, study plans, degree audits,
advancement to candidacy, dispute resolution, and accessing
• Responsible for planning and leading New Student Orientation and
Commencement in partnership with campus committees, Director of
Events, and Regional Director of Campus and Student Services.
• Serves as the campus liaison to university-wide student support
services including the Office of Accessibility, International
Student Services, Military/Veterans Affairs, Career Services, and
• Develop, implement, and monitor a proactive advising and
appreciative advising model.
• In partnership with campus community, implement and execute the
Net Promoter Score action plan to improve student success (i.e.,
retention, persistence, and graduation rates) and enhance student
• Serves as the advisor to the Student Government Association on

closely with colleagues in multiple departments including Academic
Deans, campus-based Program Directors, Associate Provosts, Human
Resources and IT Departments as well as other University Campus
Managers/Directors to support both students and colleagues in
achieving student success and Department goals. Consults with and
provides support to library staff.
