About the Opportunity

The Temporary Cooperative Education Contractor will support the cooperative education program (co-op) for undergraduate students in the College of Science. They will provide counseling/coaching and prepare students for the co-op job search and work experience through individual career advising meetings and communications. Preparation includes teaching interviewing skills, resume writing, communication skills, professional behavior, ethics, and other relevant learning objectives. They will provide support and assistance to students who are currently on their cooperative education assignments as well as conduct reflection meetings individually and/or in groups when students return to campus. They will serve as a resource for employers looking to hire students for co-op positions to fill short-term staffing needs and develop a talent pipeline for their organization. They will enter data appropriately in the NUworks system as needed.

Applicants must have a master's degree and at least 3 years of relevant professional work experience in either higher education/career counseling or in the life sciences discipline.
