Responsibilities include:
- Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, staff, faculty and visitors to the Financial Aid Office by answering calls and helping visitors promptly and respectfully.
- Assist parents and students with the application process in a supportive and positive manner.
- Customer service may include trouble-shootingFAFSAfiling questions, explaining student holds, navigating the St. Kate’s website, completing revision requests, and submitting forms.
- Inform parents, guardians, and students of university policies and requirements related to various forms of aid, scholarship, tuition, billing and registration.
- Monitor Financial Aid inbox and provide timely and accurate responses to inquiries by accessing information in Banner, DocFinity imaging, Slate and the National Student Loan Data Systems.
- Collaborate with team members to provide timely and accurate responses to inquiries by accessing information in Banner, DocFinity imaging, Slate and the National Student Loan Data Systems, as well as other institutional and government information systems.
- Schedule financial aid counselor appointments.
- Scan and index materials into DocFinity imaging system, maintain outside scholarship database.
- Support the efficient and effective operation of the Financial Aid office through a variety of coordinating, filing and tracking responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Experience working in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
- Experience working with databases, reporting tools and data analysis
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience working in Banner
- Experience working with federal, state, and institutional financial aid policies and regulations
- Experience working in administrative positions, especially in a higher education setting
