The Department of Microbiology and Immunology invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant or Associate Professor level for investigators with research interests related to immunotherapy of cancer, autoimmunity, or infectious diseases. Some areas of interest include epigenetic modifications in response to immunotherapy, antigen-specific targeting for tolerance or immunity, immune responses within the tumor or inflammatory microenvironment, metabolic and microbiome influence on adaptive immunity, and the intersection of innate and adaptive immunity. Our medical center has rapidly growing clinical programs in adoptive immunotherapy with strong potential for collaboration. Applicants should have a Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent, at least 3 years of postdoctoral training, and a willingness to contribute to the missions of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology and the Miller School of Medicine.
