Job Description:

The Spartan Advance and York College Fund Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the Spartan Advance (athletic fundraising) and assisting in the achievement of the annual goals of the York College annual giving program. This position will plan the annual strategy and timeline for all Spartan Advance fundraising initiatives and events, such as the athletic fundraising component of #YCPGives, annual athletics Golf fundraising event, athletic alumni events, etc. The coordinator will also manage daily clerical York College Fund tasks and actively assist in York College Fund events and initiatives throughout the year as assigned.


Requirements:

The candidate is required to have a bachelor's degree. At least 1 year of experience in in fundraising, specifically for athletics is preferred. Excellent communication skills in person, over the telephone, via electronic mail, and in writing are essential, particularly with potential donors. Strong organizational and planning skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously is important. Ability to work effectively with faculty, upper level administrators, professional and support staff, and student worker.
