Managing Assistant Director of EOF *Revised*

Under the supervision of the Director, the Managing Assistant Director of EOF (Managing Assistant Director 1) assists in the administration of the EOF Program at Kean University, including budget management; manages student grant awards and financial aid reporting; oversees Program assessment; and manages other EOF Program areas as assigned. The Managing Assistant Director of EOF effectively collaborates with all staff to promote the EOF Program to students, families and the community; prepares EOF budget requests for the upcoming fiscal year; monitors grant and institutional expenditures for all programs as appropriate; and prepares expenditure reports to the State as required. The Managing Assistant Director of EOF also maintains the EOF Supplemental Roster in the New Jersey Higher Education Student Assistance Authority (HESAA) New Jersey Financial Aid Management System (NJFAMS). Additionally, the Managing Assistant Director of EOF encourages student involvement and emphasizes the value of program services and support; manages office operations in the absence of the Director and Associate Director; and does related work as required.

This position is grant funded and future employment is contingent upon renewal of supporting grant funds. This position requires occasional travel and a flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours.

Qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited college and two years of professional experience in an institution of higher education is required. Experience with EOF programs, budget management and financial aid is preferred. Assessment experience is a plus. Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
