Project Description:

We are seeking a skilled Unity developer to join our team and work on the Nutri-Quest prototype, an educational video game designed for 3rd-5th grade elementary school students. The game aims to teach nutrition concepts and aligns with the SNAP-Ed Evaluation Framework. Players will collaborate in pairs to navigate through levels, collecting food, defeating monsters, and learning about nutrition along the way. The game will be accessible on any web browser-enabled device, with primary platforms being Chromebooks and landscape mode mobile phones. Classroom considerations include the option for solo play mode to accommodate absent students and facilitate seamless gameplay and lesson plans. Role Overview

Adroit Studios is expanding our team and looking for a creative and energetic Game Developer to join us. We have a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you will work with directors, designers, producers and programmers in the creation and implementation of leading edge games and features. In this position you will work closely with our team to create specifications and systems for various game projects such as dialogue, quests, AI, and user interactions.

Responsibilities:

•Work closely with the project team to iterate Unity solutions.

•Iterate prototypes into more commercially viable products based on formative feedback.

•Collaborate with the art team to implement custom artwork and UI elements.

This position is expected to last for one year based on the project it will be supporting, but may be extended if needed.

Salary

Salary and grade commensurate with education and experience.

Salary Range: $55,208.00 - $77,044.00/year

Shift

Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00pm with flexible hours

Minimum Qualifications

Requirements:

• Experience in Unity

• Fluency in C#

• Ability to work in a fast paced team

• Willingness to participate in all areas of the project

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Game Development, or a comparable field.

Experience with game development from start to finish, at least one shipped title.
