The Department of Political Science and International Relations in the College of Social Sciences, Policy, and Practice at Simmons University invites the submission of materials for a non-tenure track full-time Lecturer or Assistant Teaching Professor position. We seek outstanding applicants with a demonstrated track record of effective teaching. We are interested in those who can teach a variety of courses in the Master's in Public Policy program, as well as either American politics or international relations. The position is a campus-based, full-time ten-month contract faculty (non-tenure track) appointment. The position will start on or after July 1, 2023.

Located in Boston's historic Fenway area, Simmons has a strong tradition of empowering women and of challenging traditional gender roles. Qualifications:
  • PhD in international relations, public policy, or a related discipline preferred (for Assistant Teaching Professor rank); Masters degree accepted (for Lecturer rank)
  • Record of excellent teaching
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
