Pediatric Ophthalmologist - Assistant Professor - Academic Clinician Track (CHOP)

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Ophthalmology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching pediatric ophthalmology fellows, ophthalmology and pediatric residents, and medical students.

Clinical responsibilities may include clinical and surgical activity at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) in outpatient and inpatient settings. The clinical practice will focus on the medical and surgical management of newborn, pediatric, and adolescent patients and will include extended evening hours and/or weekend sessions and on-call responsibilities. Clinical practice will include outpatient clinics and outpatient surgery at CHOP Ambulatory Surgery Centers in the Philadelphia region, as well as the CHOP hospital site. Responsibilities may include evening/weekend on-call assignments.
