The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of stroke and cerebrovascular disease, with successful completion of an ACGME-certified fellowship in Vascular Neurology. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. Board certification in Neurology. Board certification or board-eligible in Vascular Neurology.

Teaching responsibilities may include the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as formal lecture opportunities within the department.

Clinical responsibilities may include being an attending on the stroke inpatient and consult services at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and telestroke/call service across the health system, with possibly additional service at affiliated hospitals if needed, in proportion to clinical effort and as shared with other members of the division. When not on service, the new faculty member will do outpatient sessions commensurate with effort.
