Coordinates advising-related programs for the Finish in Four programs and/or transfer programs. Collaborates as a team member on delivering New Student Orientation, Transfer Student advising, Major Exploration advising, student retention initiatives, and academic success workshops. Conducts outreach presentations and collaborates with academic colleges and departments to inform students of advising support, degree requirements, and the Titan Degree Audit. Through pre- and post-student assessment and in-depth advisement sessions, identifies major themes and trends within the specified population leading to academic probation, makes program adjustments accordingly, and provides regular updates on progress. Based on individual needs, implements interventions to assist students in identifying academic challenges, thinking them through, evaluating them realistically, and dealing with their aptitudes and abilities to promote academic success effectively. Works directly with specific college representatives to collaboratively develop a strategic intervention plan consisting of a minimum of four points of student contact dispersed among faculty, advisors, university resources, and specifically designed workshops. Supports an interdisciplinary team of faculty and staff by creating innovative and preventative measures to assist students in successfully completing remedial coursework and avoiding administrative disqualification.
