Visiting Assistant Professor of Communication Studies

About the Opportunity

Responsibilities

The Department of Communication Studies in the College of Arts, Media and Design at Northeastern University is looking to hire a one-year visiting junior appointment with the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor in Communication Studies. We seek a promising scholar for a one-year fellowship replacement. The successful candidate will be asked to teach three courses each semester from the Media and Screen Studies offerings, with a primary focus on media and social change and global media. This appointment will not be renewable.

Qualifications

Candidates should have a PhD in Communication Studies or related field by a start date of August 21, 2023. The ideal candidate will have a well-developed research agenda that promises to inform and advance current trends in the field. Candidates must be committed to excellence in undergraduate teaching.
