Job Summary:
The purpose of this position is to successfully perform diverse administrative and support activities for the Development Department which encompasses Grants, Alumni Relations, and the NIC Foundation, Inc. This position provides direct support to the Development Director/Foundation Executive Director and serves as a key team member in relationship building and stewardship. This position serves as a central point of contact with other college departments and external stakeholders and is responsible for a broad variety of day-to-day matters in an office that is consistently fast paced.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience : Associate’s degree or Applied Associate’s degree or certification from a two-year college or professional/technical school or program and a minimum of three years full-time equivalent related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, i.e. high school diploma/GED and five years experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively work with vast numbers of people, projects, and competing deadlines
- Proficient skills using Microsoft Office applications
- Proficient skills using database systems (e.g. donor databases such as Raiser’s Edge, Access)
- Ability to operate standard office equipment including phone and copier
