Description
The Department of Biology has a full-time contract position of Assistant Lecturer or Assistant Teaching Professor of Biology available for the 2023-2024 academic year. Primary responsibilities include teaching Introductory Biology, Anatomy, and Physiology courses.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in the biological sciences or related field from an accredited institution is required for the title of Assistant Lecturer.
Effective written and oral communication skills; commitment to excellence in teaching as demonstrated by a teaching statement and/or teaching evaluations.
Authorization to work in the US
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
Earned doctorate in the biological sciences from an accredited institution is required for the title of Assistant Teaching Professor; demonstrated teaching ability and/or evidence of scholarly activity, as demonstrated by student evaluations or by publications

Requires successful completion of a background check and education verification.
