Adjunct Faculty - English Composition

Start Date: August 2023

Dordt University is currently seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach English Composition in the English department during the Fall 2023 term. Course dates run from August 29 - December 19, with student grades due on December 26. Our institution uses the Canvas learning management system, and resources are available to help with planning. English Composition helps students to become aware of writing as a process and developing skills in generating ideas, revising, and editing. Students write a number of essays and a research paper as well as review traditional grammar and principles of usage and style.

Candidates should have excellent communication skills, mature interpersonal skills and ability to work independently. A master's degree is required.
