Position Summary
Prof. Herbert Fotso in the Department of Physics seeks a postdoctoral associate to join the vibrant and growing Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics group at the University at Buffalo. The successful candidate will use a combination of analytical and computational approaches to study the nonequilibrium dynamics of many-particle systems with an emphasis, on the one hand, on strongly correlated systems when they are under the influence of various time-dependent effects, and, on the other hand, on the dynamics of various quantum systems that are relevant for light-matter interfaces in quantum information processing.

- develop methods of research that incorporate highly specialized training in a specific specialty
- conduct tests procedures and engage in data collection
