Job Summary
The Program Specialist I, under general supervision, performs entry-level specialist duties for a department, college, or division.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists in planning, developing, implementing, coordinating,
and monitoring programs and services.
- Plans and develops specialized programs such as conferences,
seminars, lectures, meetings, and workshops to facilitate program
goals.
- Coordinates specialized program communications and marketing
materials.
- Assists in the development of policies and procedures. Assists
in the preparation and maintenance of budgets, special reports, and
other documents.
- Attends meetings and conferences to discuss the progress of
assigned programs.

Additional Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting literature review, data analysis and
writing manuscript for dissimulation.
- Assist with recruitment and retention of grant
participants.
- Develop training schedule and assist in the training and
scheduling of grant participants.
- Track grant participants progress in their training.
- Provide participants case review and continuing education
training.
- Provide certification and guidelines training.
- Track trainees' completion of Basic and Advanced
training.
- Participate in discussing best practices at
meetings.
- Prepares vouchers, purchase orders and requisitions.
- Coordinate with accounting personnel and other support
staff.
- Data entry and coding.
- Update SANE website as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Education - Bachelor's degree in applicable field
- Experience - No experience required.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Education - Master's degree in Social Science or related
field
- Experience - 1 to 3 years of grant related
experience
- Experience with affiliation agreement and contracts
Knowledge and Abilities
Knowledge of:
- Word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Ability to:
- Multitask and work cooperatively with others.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service
skills.
- Maintains attention to detail and utilizes sound
judgment.
Preferred Knowledge and Abilities
Experience with:
- Survey Monkey,
- Qualtrics,
- SPSS,
- Coding
- IRB knowledge
Licensing / Professional Certification - None.

Salary: $16.04/hourly
