Job Description
- Synthesize and evaluate the behavior of high temperature ceramics including materials for hypersonic vehicles
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of graduate and undergraduate researchers within the UHTC group
- Report findings to funding agencies
- Produce archival journal publications
- Obtain external research funding from public and private sources
- Grow independent research to eventually support own salary
- Maintain laboratory equipment as needed
- Assist the Materials Science and Engineering department through servies as requested
