POSITION SUMMARY
The Student Affairs Integrated Processing Specialist position provides support for processing functions across Student Affairs departments/areas including Advising, TRIO and Special Projects, College Testing Services, Military and Veterans Services, Disability Services, Counseling Services, Student Advocacy and Financial Stability, Student Engagement and Inclusion, Student Conduct, and Strategic Initiatives and Assessment. Processing Specialists evaluate documents and execute processes for verification, certification, credentialing, and eligibility determination for various services and programs. They perform data entry and record maintenance, provide system and technical support, and assist with data analyses and reporting.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

Clerical
Evaluates documents, verifies information, and assists with credentialing and certifying eligibility for testing, course registration, benefits, participation in various programs, and other Student Affairs services/supports. Follows Federal and State regulations and College practices and guidelines to ensure institutional compliance. Scans, uploads, indexes, and maintains documents in electronic files and document management systems. Enters and updates data and maintains student records in the College’s Enterprise Resource Planning and other student information systems. Performs configuration tasks, set-up, and maintenance of intake forms virtual drop-in services and queues, as directed. Maintains confidentiality of student records and other sensitive information.

Data Analysis and Reporting
Maintains and updates data and statistics of student record information in College databases. Retains contact and outcome data and compiles weekly, monthly, and annual reports. Supports assessment and evaluation efforts. Analyzes data to track student contact, outreach, and success trends and impact. Responds to data requests and meets with involved parties to document data and reporting needs. Assists with developing presentation documents, including graphs, etc.

Systems and Technical Support
Provides basic technical support to Student Affairs personnel to ensure critical functioning for systems and applications. Collaborates with other processing and system specialists across Student Affairs and other divisions to assist in resolving cross-functional issues, support coordination of processes, and improve communication. Recommends process improvements based on student needs and system functionality. Adds training information to various systems. Assists with checking College documents, forms, and websites for accessibility and updating website information.

Customer Service
Communicates with internal partners and students regarding eligibility, documentation, student record, and other information related to assigned areas of responsibility. Interfaces and collaborates with College personnel/departments, Higher Education and government agencies, and external community entities.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing duties for this job, the employee regularly exhibits digital dexterity when entering data into a computer, frequently sits for extended periods, and occasionally stands and walks. Employee converses verbally or manually with others in person, by telephone, or via video conferencing. Vision demands include close, detailed vision when focusing on a computer screen. Employee occasionally lifts or exerts a force up to 10 pounds.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED with three (3) years experience in a computer information technology, applications, systems, clerical support, and/or student services role. Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred. *An appropriate combination of education, training, coursework and experience may qualify a candidate.

State Motor Vehicle Operator's License or demonstrable ability to gain access to work site(s).
