The Department of Biology ( https://www.coastal.edu/biology/ ) at Coastal Carolina University is accepting applications for a pool of Teaching Associates (part-time adjunct faculty) starting at the beginning of the fall 2023 semester. The successful candidate must be able to teach lectures and labs for introductory biology. The Biology Department has about 500 undergraduates, 10 graduate students and 25 full-time faculty. Successful candidate must have a Master’s or PhD degree in Biology, or equivalent, with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in Biology.
Coastal Carolina University is a public comprehensive liberal arts institution located in Conway, South Carolina, just nine miles from the Atlantic coastal resort city of Myrtle Beach.
