Job Summary:
The Video Coordinator / Assistant Director of Football Operations works alongside the Director of Football Operations and Administrative Assistant to coordinate all technology operations of Furman Football. Also, to provide the coaching staff and players with all the necessary video for success. Oversee and manage all video students. Serve as direct contact for IT needs throughout the facility. Efficiency and effectiveness are very important. It is vital for this position to be a problem solver and effective troubleshooter when it comes to technology. Continuous improvement and growth are expected from this position. Required Bachelor's degree or higher. Must abide by all NCAA rules and regulations and be responsible for promoting an atmosphere of compliance.

Job Description:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Coordinate the recording of all practices and games from multiple camera angles and appoint the video students for inputting film in the appropriate manner.

2. Organize and Import all practice and game footage to Catapult Thunder Football for the coaching staff and student-athletes to review while establishing and organizing film.

3. Design and edit motion and still graphics using Adobe Creative Suite to create a dynamic branded look for use in recruiting, motivational content, and social media. Produce content that will engage the audience and promote the Furman Football brand.

4. Film and/or photograph team events, recruiting functions and other football related activities as needed for creative content.

5. Supervise and manage all the student video assistants; responsible for recruiting, hiring, and assigning daily responsibilities within video operations.

6. Guide the coaching staff, support staff, and student workers through the operation of various computer programs including, but not limited to: Microsoft Visio, Adobe Creative Suite, Catapult Thunder Football, Catapult Thundercloud, and Hudl.

7. Function as organizational liaison for Furman University IT department for the Furman Football Center and the Football program needs.

8. Serve as the direct contact for student-athlete engagement with film, thundercloud, and XO's platforms daily.

9. Coordinate and set up all meeting rooms at team hotel for both home and away contests, while ensuring all technology and video needs meet the standard for team travel and success.

Supervisory Responsibilities

1. Oversee Direct and Manage the student video assistants; while being held responsible for establishing a plan for recruiting and soliciting new video workers.

2. Enforce and execute daily IT needs for the entire coaching staff and support staff in the Pearce Horton Football Complex.

Qualifications, Credentials, and Competencies

1. Bachelor's degree required.

2. Knowledge of NCAA Division I rules and regulations.
