Position Summary

The Distribution Clerk delivers products, equipment and other supplies to Holmes Student Center (H.S.C.) supported areas of campus using a University vehicle.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Delivers Catering food, equipment & other supplies to Campus Dining supported Catered events.
  • Delivers product and supplies to Satellite food operations on a daily basis.
  • Interacts with managers & crew of satellite operations to determine and maintain stock needs.
  • Communicates product & supply needs/usages to storekeeper & managers to insure proper product levels/availability.
  • Assists in setting up, maintaining and cleaning of catered events.
  • Maintains sanitation and quality standards in accordance with Illinois Food Handlers Permit.
  • Assists in covering breaks and providing assistance at various dining locations when staffing needs warrant such activities.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Required Qualifications (Civil Service)

1. High school graduation or equivalent
