Director of Enrollment and Student Success Analytics

THE DIRECTOR OF ENROLLMENT AND STUDENT SUCCESS ANALYTICS

Under the direct supervision of the Chief Data and Analytics Officer in the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Planning, the inaugural Director of Enrollment and Student Success Analytics provides leadership in refining the overall data and analytics roadmap to better support faculty, staff, and institutional leaders in making insight-driven decisions to strengthen enrollment and student success, efforts that are core to the mission of Oberlin.  This leader will expand internal capacities around data and analytics to support and empower enrollment and student success through the identification of new strategic opportunities as well as the development of creative solutions to assist in the exploration and resolution of pressing institutional questions.

The individual in this role will be challenged to think critically about how to approach analytic projects and create new forecasting models and support strategic initiatives. To be successful in this role, the Director will utilize a combination of exceptional technical skills, creative problem solving, and understanding of enrollment management, student success, and financial aid strategy.  The Director will be a strong institutional collaborator, convener and partner.
