Position Summary

Are you looking to take the next step in your career as a higher education administrator? The University at Buffalo’s (UB) Graduate Medical Education ( GME ) Accreditation team is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accreditation Administrator.

In this position, you will:
  • provide high-level support to UB’s 70+ medical residency and fellowship programs in GME’s Residency Management System (MedHub);
  • assist with compliance monitoring of New York State Department of Health ( NYS DOH ) regulations and Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education ( ACGME ) requirements; and,
  • provide administrative management for monthly meetings of the Graduate Medical Education Committee ( GMEC ) and its Program Quality Review Subcommittee ( PQRS ), which involves working with colleagues to set agendas, take minutes, and monitor compliance with ACGME requirements and UB policies.

Minimum Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:
  • a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience;
  • a passion for lifelong learning;
  • effective interpersonal and communication skills;
  • excellent computer skills (including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint);
  • ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality;
  • excellent organizational skills;
  • flexibility in working independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in MedHub or similar residency management system is preferred, but not required.
