Job Summary/Basic Functions

Incumbent works directly with the Heat Plant Supervisor and Foreman to ensure flawless operation of the plant gas-fired boilers and to keep steam supply in compliance with EKU demands and to perform maintenance as needed on the steam delivery system

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED.

Experience: One year of previous and directly related experience.

Equivalency:

Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Required Knowledge:

Working knowledge of associated safety procedures and confined space safety and lock-out/tag-out.

Job Duties:

• 85% - Assists in performing routine boiler and steam plant maintenance. - ()
• 10% - Supports the efficient operations of the department. - ()
• 5% - Other duties as assigned - ()
