Research Assistant
Wayne State University is searching for an experienced Research Assistant at its Detroit campus location.

Essential functions (job duties):
· Work closely with Dr. Rabinak and the Clinical Research Coordinator to make sure research studies are running smoothly, maintain compliance, and discuss any potential problems/issues.
· Assist in data collection and management (e.g., neuroimaging, electrophysiology, psychophysiology, etc).
· Assist in contacting and interviewing participants and research volunteers.
· Assist in obtaining informed consent.
· Assist in administering questionnaires and conducting clinical interviews.
· Assist in preparing paperwork and communicating with IRB, sponsoring/regulatory agencies, and clinic and research staff.
· Assist in entering, managing, analyzing and preparing data for presentations and grant applications; and other tasks assigned
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field.
· Effective communicator (oral and written), strong interpersonal and organization skills with great attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills.
· Knowledge of computer operation, including word-processing, database and statistical software.
Preferred qualifications:
· Experience conducting clinical research with traumatized populations · Experience collecting and analyzing neuroimaging data
