Teaching Professor (all ranks) – School of Integrated Engineering

The Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University (ASU) seek an energetic individual for the position of Teaching Professor (all ranks considered) or Instructor in our new School of Integrated Engineering at the ASU West Campus.  A minimum of a M.S. in electrical engineering and evidence of teaching experience in an undergraduate engineering program is required.  A Ph.D in electrical engineering  is preferred.

At ASU, we are in the process of transforming engineering education.  As a part of this process, we have created a new school (School of Integrated Engineering) which will offer degrees that integrate engineering content and mindset with other disciplines.  Our first offering will be an Engineering Science degree with concentrations in Business and Microelectronics.  Job duties include teaching assigned classes in fall and spring semesters both in person and online primarily at ASU West but also at our Tempe campus.  The successful candidate for this position will have a demonstrated record of excellence in teaching that incorporates active learning, will share our passion for engineering education and will be effective in a highly collaborative environment.

Appointments will be made at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Teaching Professor, Associate Teaching Professor, or (Full) Teaching Professor commensurate with the candidate’s experience and accomplishments, beginning August 2023.
