Job Summary/Basic Functions

A Journeyman HVAC-R Technician installs, maintains, and repairs all HVAC and Refrigeration equipment in accordance with established procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: - High school diploma or GED.- Kentucky Journeyman's HVAC License.- EPA Refrigeration Certification

Experience: Two years of previous and directly related experience required.

Licensure & Certifications: - Kentucky Journeyman's HVAC License.- EPA Refrigeration Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

Job Duties:

• 50% - Repair and Installation of HVAC equipment. - ()
• 35% - Maintain and Inspection (PM) of HVAC equipment - ()
• 10% - Ensures compliance with all regulatory and/or policy requirements. - ()
• 10% - Supports the smooth and efficient operations of the department and the University. - ()
