Job Summary/Basic Functions

This position is responsible for all school psychologist duties associated with Model Laboratory School students. Support includes working with special needs populations, student supervision, student assessments, writing psychological evaluations, attending ARC meetings to interpret assessment data, and faculty support, as well as support of the school's mission of pre-service teacher training, university research initiatives and university committee work. The successful candidate will be willing to support extracurricular opportunities for Model school students and other related functions as required.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

Experience:

Licensure & Certifications: Master's degree in appropriate education course work from a regionally accredited university, and Kentucky certification for school psychology.

Preferred Qualifications:

Successful experience as a school psychologist

Job Duties:
  • 80% - Provide psychological services for Model students including working with special needs populations, student supervision, student assessments, writing psychological evaluations, attending ARC meetings to interpret assessment data, and faculty support. - (Essential)
  • 15% - Maintain credentials and complete assigned professional development and training requirements. - (Essential)
  • 5% - Other duties assigned based on school and student needs and events. - (Essential)
