Job Description:
Given the anticipated volume of 900-1,200 students for a total of 5 Precollege Programs with in person and remote student populations, additional support is needed to enhance the students experience and ensure safety and compliance. This position assists with several phases of Precollege Programs from initiation to completion of the summer programs. The successful candidate will:
- Provide assistance with classroom setup required for over 100 course sections. For remote classes this includes creating google classroom shells and scheduling assignments, vetting remote waivers and providing technical support.
- Assist with special summer events such as opening day check-in and orientation which may fall on non-traditional schedule days and hours. Remote orientation requires adding students to Google classroom cafeteria, posting content, assisting students with log-in and supporting Q&A sessions in online breakout rooms.Participate in "session starts" which include a check-in event for both in person and remote populations.
- Provide login assistance for all walk-ins and daily telephone/reception coverage as needed, including troubleshooting problems and disseminating basic information on established policies.
- Perform clerical duties once classes are in-session including weekly collection and recording of required student compliance documents such as: Consent and Waiver forms, Attendance, Grading Policy, Safety Review, Program Surveys and Final Grading Rubrics. Daily class check-ins to follow up on attendance submission.

Requirements:
High school diploma and completion of two years in an accredited post-secondary institution of learning; or high school diploma and one year in an accredited postsecondary institution of learning and three years of appropriate related experience; or high school diploma and four years of appropriate experience. Experience working with youth populations preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Excel required.
- Quality customer service skills, excellent telephone manners
and the ability to work well under pressure are required.

Additional Information:
This posting is four (5) vacancies in the CCPS Department from June 5, 2023 through August 3, 2023.
Hiring Rate- $22.92 per hour
Days/Hours: M-TH, in-person (29 hours per week),Fridays June 6, June 23, July 7; work schedule subject to change based on needs of the department.
